Dr. Kathryn Wellen received the inaugural Sable Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Field of Metabolic Physiology for her work linking metabolism, epigenetics and gene expression at the 2023 Metabolic Physiology Meeting that just concluded.  Remarkably, this honor comes on the heels of Katy’s receipt of the AACR Award for Outstanding Achievement in Basic Cancer Research at the 2023 Annual AACR Meeting.
